Robert Michael Garcia (67) born 8/16/49 to Jose and Antonia Garcia in Prescott, AZ. He was an Ajo All-State Football Player (Guard) for the Red Raiders in 1966. He graduated from Ajo High School in 1967, and he married Terry Luna in 1970. He graduated from A.S.U. in 1973 majoring in Elementary Education. After graduation, he became a Social Worker and a Community Organizer; shortly after, an Elementary School Teacher for Murphy School District. In 1982 he ran and won the Justice of the Peace for South Phoenix, serving for 12 years. In 1996 he received a Master Degree in Education Administration and accepted a Teaching position for the Roosevelt School District, retiring in 2012. In 2013 he moved to CO to live with his Son. After years of fighting Kidney Disease, Vascular Disease, and living as a Double Amputee eventually becoming wheel chair bound, he entered eternal peace and rest on 10/31/16. Robert is survived by his wife Terry, his children Tammy, Robert (Patricia), Mario (Noemi), and Danny, 15 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and is also survived by his brothers Joe, Frank, and Arthur. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Barbara. Robert is a 3rd degreed Knight of Columbus and will be remembered as a loving Father, a dedicated Husband, affectionate Grandfather, and caring Brother.
