Amparo Acevedo

Acevedo, Amparo “Amy”, 86, beloved Mother, Nana, Aunt, Sister and Friend passed away April 5, 2019. Amy was born on August 11, 1932. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the pride and joy of Amy’s life. The legacy of Amy’s kind spirit, passion for sports and joy for life will live on through them. She is survived by sons; Librado “Sonny” III (Cecilia), Gregory “Bochy”, Donald (Elka), Ronald (Carmen); and daughter Isabell (Manuel) Gaytan. She also leaves behind (14) fourteen Grandchildren and (15) fifteen Great Grandchildren and her Sister Connie Dominguez Yniguez.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. with Rosary at 10:30 A.M. and Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Burial to follow services at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.
