It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Adela Ontiveros Lerma, on 12/04/2024. She lived a life filled with love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Born on December 16, 1939 in Clint, TX, Adela grew up cherishing the values of hard work and compassion. She dedicated her life to her loved ones, always creating a warm and welcoming home where countless cherished memories were made.

She is survived by her husband Arturo Onsurez Lerma of 65 years, 10 children, 21 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren in addition to 2 sisters, a brother and many nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her laughter, her generosity, and the way she made everyone feel special.

A Rosary will be held at 11:00am, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30am on Friday, December 20, 2024 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., in Phoenix. Burial will follow at 2:00pm at West Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W. Northern Ave., in Glendale.

Adela will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and her legacy will continue to inspire us. Though we will miss her dearly, we find comfort that she is reunited with loved ones that have gone before her, and that we, too, will be reunited with her.
