Marcus Lionel Aguilar

Marcus Lionel Aguilar, 40, born on October 14, 1979 and passed away on August 3, 2020. He was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona from the parents of Irene Aguilar and Lionel Aguilar. He leaves behind his brothers and sisters Frank, twin sister Melissa, Jacob, Amiah, and Zach. Along with his wife Amy Hodges Aguilar, and his 2 children Xavier and Mia  Aguilar. He was a wonderful husband and father and uncle. Marcus was an amazing chef. He put all his love and time into his food. Marcus was also a wonderful football coach and mentor to the Phoenix Grizzlies. He loved and cared for those kids like they were his own. He would always say to them “AKT.” Marcus will forever live in all of our hearts and watch over us all. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 2:00-3:00 P.M. with a Memorial Service to immediately follow at 3:00 P.M. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E.
