“Georgia” Juanita Valentina Trejo-Alvarez, of Phoenix AZ, went Home peacefully sharing the room of her beloved granddaughters (Daniella and Gabriel “Bella” Maldonado) surrounded by the love of her family and dear friends comfortably laying next to her daughter, Anna Maria, on All Saints Day, November 1, 2017. Georgia leaves us with an incredible appreciation for life, love, laughter, learning, art, music, dancing, travel, friendship and fashion. Her legacy of service to others, a deep sense of faith and love of life, dear friends and family will live on through her daughter Anna Maria Alvarez-Maldonado (Fredrick “Freddy” Martin Buss); Granddaughter’s Daniella and Bella Maldonado-their father Jackson Maldonado; step grandchildren Miya, Steen and Hannah Buss; baby sister Evangelina “Eva” Cons (Abriel “Abie” Cons) and many beloved nieces and nephews. Georgia was preceded Home by her mother Juanita Valenzuela Trejo, her father Gomisindo “Chindo” Trejo and her sister “Negra” Rose Pearl Trejo-Miller. A Vigil will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. with the Rosary being prayed at 7:00 P.M. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 East Indian School Road Phoenix. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:30 P.M. on Friday, November 10, 2017 at St. Francis Xavier Parish, 4715 North Central Avenue Phoenix. The Burial will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at Glendale Memorial Park Cemetery, 7844 North 61st Avenue, Glendale. A reception following the Funeral Mass will be held at El Portal Restaurant, 117 West Grant Street, Phoenix from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M.
