Johnnie Kate Anderson

On February 16, 2018, we lost our mother Johnnie Kate Anderson. She left her remaining family S. Bud Anderson (Suzanne Lent) James E. Anderson (Cris Earley) Carolyn Ashworth, Cindy Rose Essary (Dale), Robbie S. Anderson (Cecilia), daughter-in-law Carol Anderson, 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren to wander these lands alone. Preceding her in death, her husband Herman Anderson and son Carley Anderson. She gave her children a foundation to live by, faith in God, kindness, fairness, honesty, plus a great smile to remember her by. She was born in Philadelphia, MS, in 1924, and passed away in Glendale, AZ, where she lived for almost 60 years. A Viewing will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018 from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., in Phoenix. A Graveside Service will be Tuesday, February 27th, at 11:00 A.M. at West Resthaven Cemetery, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, in Glendale. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014, would be appreciated.
