Andrew Kyle Perkins

Andrew Kyle Perkins, born September 26, 1986, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, passed away on July 16, 2024, after bravely battling Crohn’s disease for many years.

Andrew's journey began in Wisconsin where he graduated from Delavan Darien High School before pursuing higher education at UW-Milwaukee.

His path took a turn when he enlisted in the Army, serving honorably with a tour in Afghanistan. His dedication and courage were evident both in his military service and throughout his life. After leaving the Army, Andrew relocated to Arizona, where he continued to build his life and explore new opportunities.

During his school years, Andrew found joy in the arts, participating enthusiastically in plays, and fostering community through organizing local area network (LAN) gaming tournaments. His passion for gaming extended to cherished gatherings with friends, where board games and card games like Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons brought endless laughter and camaraderie. Andrew was known for his boisterous laugh and witty sense of humor, which brightened every room he entered.

Andrew had a remarkable gift for uniting people. His infectious spirit and ability to create connections made him deeply loved by all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of friendship and joyous memories that will be cherished forever.

Andrew is survived by his loving mother, Jill Perkins; devoted sister, Erin (Michael) Stewart; and supportive brother, Ethan Alm. He is also remembered fondly by his beloved corgi, Wicket, who brought him great comfort and joy.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Joan Krabbe; his uncle, Jeremy Krabbe; and his cousin, David Palcic.

Andrew Kyle Perkins will be dearly missed and forever remembered for his humor and sarcasm, his strength, and the profound impact he had on those fortunate enough to have known him.

A memorial service to celebrate Andrew’s life will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home. The family will receive guests at 1:00 PM and the service will begin at 2:00 PM.

To honor Andrew’s devotion to his beloved dog, Wicket, the family asks, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local animal shelter
