Phoenix

Andrew Eugene Snowden, a vibrant soul who touched the hearts of many, passed away unexpectedly on February 26, 2025, in Arizona, at the age of 28. He was born on August 16, 1996, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Andrew was a cherished son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. His kindness, infectious humor, and adventurous spirit created lasting memories for all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

From an early age, Andrew was active in sports, particularly baseball, where he treasured the time spent with his father coaching him. Beyond the field, he enjoyed family vacations, video games, and outdoor adventures, often racing his sisters and cousin, Ashley, on go-carts, four-wheelers, and dirt bikes along the neighborhood trails created by his uncle, Wayne Gayman.

As he grew, Andrew’s passion for sports, video games, and mechanics flourished. A devoted fan of University of Texas athletics, he was known for his infectious enthusiasm during games. His curiosity about vehicles led him to become skilled in modifying them. He used video games to bond with friends and family, whether they were near or far.

Andrew was blessed to have many dear friends. He forged a deep bond with his best friend, Tylor Anderson, whom he met in Corpus Christi and later lived with in Arizona. Embracing a new career in Arizona, Andrew was recognized for his positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and unwavering dedication. He often returned to Texas to foster his relationships with family and friends, joyfully anticipating the upcoming role of becoming an uncle.

Andrew's legacy of kindness, humor, and love will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Andrew was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert Snowden; his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Gayman; his maternal uncle, Marc Gayman; and his paternal step-grandfather, Jack Dill; all of whom loved and adored him dearly.

Andrew is survived by his mother, Carla Gayman (Mike Martin); his father, Dr. Philip Snowden (Celina); his sisters, Jennifer Morales (Sam) and Rebekah Snowden; his maternal grandfather, Carl “Joe” Gayman (Nancy); his paternal grandmother, Karen Dill; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, close friends, and his furry companion, Scout.
