Chandler

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Angela L. Romero Arias, who passed away peacefully at the age of 53, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday March 06, 2025, after a courageous battle with stomach cancer. Through her cancer journey, she taught those around her what it looks like to love bravely and always with joy and a smile. She was known for her trademark spunk, even until the end. Angela will forever be a bright, guiding light to her family and loved ones.

Angela was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and community-devoted leader. Born in Tempe, AZ, on December 12th,1972 she was the daughter of Daniel and Betty Romero. Angela went to Chandler High graduating in 1992. Shortly after meeting his soulmate at the age of 18, Jaime Arias decided to take a leap and ask Angela for her hand in marriage. Angela and Jaime got married on June 19th 1999. Together they lived on the property that Daniel and Betty gifted to Angela and Jaime in Chandler, AZ, where the lovely couple decided to plant roots and raise a family of their own.

Angela was the quintessential 4H and FFA mom and creator of many magical moments for her family, especially her 3 children: Jamito, Xavier and Emilio. She devoted countless hours supporting her children with their education, their devotion to 4H and FFA by never missing a show, providing advice on life, and through countless hobbies.

She was a devoted 4H and FFA mom, to the point where Angela and her husband Jaime decided to establish Arias Market Goat Farm. Angela dedicated love and countless hours to many 4H and FFA kids. She had a special gift when it came to those kids. For many, she was like the mother that they never had. She was always willing to lend an ear, a shoulder, a hand, whether they needed help in life or for show preparations. She had an unwavering sense of right and wrong and was never afraid to voice when they needed direction.

Aside from being a devoted wife and mother, she was an outspoken person with a huge heart. In her spare time, Angela enjoyed arts and crafts, either by creating or refurbishing any item into something of much greater value. She loved the outdoors, playing with the family’s dogs, Brody, D.O.G, Hyde and even Emmit. Amongst the many talents, Angela had a passion for photography. Capturing her family’s biggest moments in life through the lens of her camera, giving them some of the lives’ fondest memories.

Angela is survived by her loving husband Jaime Arias, her 3 boys- Jaimito, Xavier (Hanna Greeson), Emilio; her mother Betty; her brother Andreas Romero (Paola Ruelas); her niece Maryssa Romero; her godson Andreas Romero (Alexis Romero), and nephews Vincent Romero, and Josh Romero.. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, lifelong friends and a community that felt her warmth, and kindness, who will deeply miss her kindred spirit.
