With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Angelita “Angie” G. Apodaca, who entered eternal rest on January 26, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Born on September 20, 1943 in Los Angeles, California, Angie lived a life rooted in love, faith, and service. A devout Catholic, she found strength in her relationship with God, guiding her family with unwavering devotion and kindness. Angie was a devoted and loving wife, mother, nana, and a great role model to all. She is survived by; 6 children, 17 grandchildren, Joseph (Celeste, Joseph, Victoria, Malia), Jo Anne (Amarisa, Jude), Diana (Xzavier), Laura (Veronica, Elicia, A.J., Eryka), Sylvia (Santiago, Socorro, Priscilla), Cathy (Michelle, Katherine, Matthew); 25 great-grandchildren, Aiden, Violet, Lorenzo, Giovanni, Anthony, Reana, Amia, J.C., Makaio, Elsyanna, Lavieena, Abel, Andrew, Nate, Phoenix, Emily, Louisa, Isaiah, Isaac, Angelique, Jaslyn, Aiden, Aubrey, Abigail; her sisters Jenny, Yoli, Betty.
Preceded in death by husband Joe Apodaca, brothers Arnulfo and David, and great-grandchild Lenny.
Angie was loved by many and will be missed by all.
On Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ 85018, a visitation will be held from 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. with funeral service including time for sharing memories to be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Burial to follow at 1:30 p.m. at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Phoenix.
