Deborah “Debbie” Marie Angulo, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many lost her 10-year battle with cancer on August 4, 2020. She was 65 years old. Debbie was the eldest child born to David and Rosalie Angulo. She was raised in Phoenix and graduated from Gerard Catholic High School. After graduation, Debbie followed her love of beauty and became a cosmetologist. She owned and operated hair salons during her working years. Most of her free time was dedicated to her family but Debbie loved to read and always had a couple of books in progress.
Debbie was preceded in death by her father, David. She is survived by her mother Rosalie, her children Adam and Mia (Chris) with her former husband Gilbert Guerra, her grandchildren Nina, Leo and Eva, and her brothers David (Erminia) and Duane (Julie), nieces Amanda, Gabriella, Leah and nephew Nicholas. Many aunts, uncles and cousins as well.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date due to COVID 19 restrictions at this time. We thank you for your understanding. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to the American Cancer Society or the Susan G Komen Cancer Foundation in Debbie’s name.
On behalf of Adam and Mia, her family would like to offer their enormous gratitude to Debbie’s Oncologist, Andrew Buresh and staff for the compassion and amazing care they provided for her over the last 10 years. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace.
