Esther Aros

Esther Aros, age 93, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her children. She was born in Clarkdale AZ and moved to Phoenix with her parents when she was 15 years old. She graduated from Phoenix Union high school. She met and married the love of her life; our father José and they were married for 73 years. Esther was a good wife and mother to her children and provided unconditional love to us and her passing is truly a great loss for our family. She worked for J.C. Penney for 15 years before retiring. Esther loved to sew and do various crafts and was very talented. Esther is preceded in death by her husband José S. Aros, her parents Abraham and Jessie Ballesteros, sister Eleanor Diaz, grandson Pete “PJ” Rocha and great granddaughter Serena Guzman. She is survived by her children, Joe R. Aros, Ernie Aros (Sylvia), Irene Aros Perez and Andy Aros (Becky), 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
