Anita M. Arvizu

80, of Phoenix, passed away on May 9, 2016. She was born on July 22, 1935 to Juan and Guadalupe (Othon) Martinez. She was a great daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She now joins Alex, the love of her life. They were married 62 years. Anita is survived by her son Alex (Elsa), daughters Tessie and Patricia and son Ruben (Isabel). She is also survived by 11 grandsons and 8 great grandchildren. She was a home maker, and dedicated volunteer for many groups. She passed peacefully in her home surrounded by the family she loved. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 AM with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at St. Mary’s Basilica, 231 N. 3
