Jerry L Aslanian, 89, of Phoenix, AZ passed away surrounded by his family on July 27 2023.
A 1st generation American, born in Los Angeles on July 12 1934 to immigrants fleeing the Armenian Genocide. A Phoenix Union and ASU alum the US Army veteran built his family and life in Phoenix. Preceded in death by father Louie, mother Angie and sister Julia Karam. Survived by wife Gena, son Aaron, daughter Angela, brother Paul (Lori), niece Susan Kuberra and many other nieces and nephews. He was interred by immediate family on August 7 2023. A celebration of life Mass will be planned at a later and cooler date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
