Sylvia Barela, 82, born in Crowley, Colorado went to be with the Lord on January 18, 2021 in Phoenix, AZ.

Most Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt.

She is survived by sons, Desi, Stephen (Melissa), Abraham and Gabriel; daughters, Teresa (Mike) McGhee, Laura (Al) Mora, Antoinette Nations, Madonna (Doug) Mounts; sister Dora Renteria; brother Jerry Algiene; 23 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Tony Barela; sister Bea Arellano; brothers, Ray Algiene and John Algiene.

A Rosary will begin at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 with Visitation held from 3:30-5:00 P.M. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix.
