William E. Barta

93, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 in Phoenix, AZ.  Bill was born December 3, 1921 in Cleveland, Ohio.  He and his wife, Irene moved to Phoenix from Cleveland in 1974 when Bill retired from TRW, after more than 30 years. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, his high school sweetheart, Irene. They married in l943, shortly before he left for overseas during World War II.  Bill is a veteran of World War II and an American Legion member.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Mabel, nee Dall, and father, Anton.  He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Goorman, grandson, Brad Goorman, cousins, nieces and nephews.  A Graveside Service will be held Friday, May 22, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N. 48
