Michael Thomas Bennett

Michael Thomas Bennett, born September 27th, 1957, passed away on June 24th, 2019 after a short battle with lung cancer.

A beloved husband, father, son, brother, and papa, Michael is survived by his wife, Julie N. Bennett, two children, Christopher M. Bennett, his wife Ashley A. Bennett, and Lauren E. Bennett, one grandchild, Jackson Bennett Vass, two stepchildren, Jack Dimond and Grace Dimond, his mother Dorothy Smith, his sister Alexandria Campos, his brothers Christopher Smith and Philip Smith, his brother, Jeffrey P. Bennett and his wife, Jennifer Bennett.

The family wishes that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Michael’s passion about cancer research; and in light of Houston’s recognition as a leader of cancer research please consider making your donation in care of:

A Visitation will be held Thursday, June 27th, 2019 from 6-8 PM at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home at 4800 E. Indian School Road Phoenix, AZ 85018.

A Funeral Mass service will be held Friday, June 28th, 2019 at 10 AM at Blessed Sacrament at 11300 N. 64th Street Scottsdale, AZ 85254.

A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held at the Bennett home following the mass service until 2 PM.
