Eva Louise Bertoni

Eva Bertoni, 96, passed away  peacefully in her home on December 28, 2013.  She was born in Springfield, Illinois on December 6, 1917 to William and Eva Thomas.  Eva moved to Phoenix in 1954 with her husband and their three children. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Fredrick, in 1999.  She is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Billy) Matheny, Catherine Stephan, and son, Frederick, 3 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.   Graveside Services will be held at St. Francis Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th St., Phoenix, at 11:00am, Tuesday, January 7, 2014.  The family requests donations be made to Hospice of the Valley.  Arrangements entrusted to Whitney & Murphy Funeral
