Margaret P. Blanco 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 3, 2017. Margaret was an Arizona native who married the love of her life, Ismael Blanco and had three beautiful children. She dedicated her life to taking care of her family and was the caregiver for three generations of kids. She loved her family more than life itself and made it her mission to be sure they always felt her love. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Louise Galas and Charles Pacheco, her sister Laura Leyva and brother-in-law, Joe Leyva, her brother Marcos Pacheco and sister-in-law Blanche Pacheco and her son Louie Blanco. Margaret is survived by her daughter Angie LaBrie, her son Thomas Blanco, her grandchildren Serena Moran and Thomas Blanco and her great grandchildren Justin Baker, Hannah Baker and Nathan Davis-Blanco. A Visitation will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Parish, 1954 N. 24th Street, Phoenix with interment to follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.
A Reception/Celebration will be held following the interment at The Salvation Army Corporate office located at 2707 E. Van Buren Street, Phoenix.
