Grace Brown, 91, entered into Heaven on Tuesday, February 07, 2012. She left Earth peacefully, surrounded by friends and family. She was born on August 20, 1920, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and had been living in Scottsdale, since evacuating, when Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, John and Mary Ann Costa, her sister, Mary Ann Miller, and brother, Sam Costa, her husbands Roy St. Pierre and Vernon Brown, and recently, her granddaughter, Grace Tompkins. She is survived by her loving family: Linda (Bill) Hunt and Raymond (Gloria) St. Pierre, four grandchildren, RJ (Kate), Renèe (Joel), Paul (Jenny), and Philip, and four great-granddaughters. Services will be held Monday, February 13, 2012 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4715 N. Central Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85012. Visitation in church starts at 9:00AM, until 10:00AM with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. A reception will follow at St. Joseph’s Hospital, 350 W. Thomas Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85013.
