Mildred Bertha Burk

96, of Peoria, passed away January 11, 2014.  Mildred was born October 21, 1917 in Rawlins County, Kansas.  She married Floyd Burk in 1938. They were married 62 years when Floyd passed away in 2001.  She is survived by her son, Dale (Maureen), daughter Diania Lynn, granddaughter Donna Miller (Lance), grandsons, Bryan Burk (Michelle) and Michael Latham, and six great-grandchildren.  Mildred was a homemaker and her main joy in life was her family and friends.  Mildred will be greatly missed.  Visitation will be held at 10:00am with a Funeral Service at 11:00am, Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix.  Interment will follow at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix.
