Dorothy Caballero

Dorothy Caballero, 84, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, godmother, aunt, cousin, and friend. Born November 5, 1938, to Joe and Trine Bedia in Phoenix, Arizona. She married the love of her life, Manuel, in 1957 and enjoyed 59 years of marriage.

Together they created a life raising their children, working side by side on their dairy farm cultivating and leaving a legacy for their family. Dorothy was special in so many ways. She was classy, talented, fashionable, and vibrant; most of all, she was kind and generous.

Dorothy had an exceptionally fulfilled life, one that she shared with so many people. We are grateful for the gift of her presence in our lives. May she rest in peace knowing her memory will forever be etched in our hearts.

Dorothy leaves behind her four children, many grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Manuel and a great granddaughter.

Visitation is Thursday, September 7, 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home 4800 East Indian School Road Phoenix, AZ 85018. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, September 8 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Basilica 231 North 3rd St. Phoenix.
