Frances Castellano of Phoenix passed away on January 15, 2017 at the age of 87. Frances was born in Scranton, PA and moved to Arizona in 1962. She was a homemaker with many talents. An amazing cook and baker, she always had a cake baked for her children when they got home from school. She was also well known for her amazing sauce and meatballs. Frances could sew the most beautiful dresses and she was always putting her talents to work for her family. Other than working in the home, she was a cashier at the movie theatre; a job which she took great pride in and loved. She is preceded in death by her husband Vito, parents Sam and Marianna Yanni, sisters Annie, Carmel, Chris and Dorothy, brothers Louie, Stevie, Tommy and Frankie, and her dog Doogie. Frances is survived by her daughter Debra Snodgrass, son Nick, granddaughters Kelly Weisenberger and Candace Harris, and sister Minnie. Frances devoted her life to her family, always putting their needs first. Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, in Phoenix.
