Christina Gray

Christina Gray, known as "Tina" to family and friends, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at The Terraces in Phoenix, AZ at the age of 94. She was a beloved sister and aunt. Tina was born on November 12, 1929 in County Armagh, Northern Ireland. She moved to New York in 1969 to live with her sister Olive and family, finally settling with them in Arizona in 1976. 

Tina is preceded in death by her parents, Annie (née McCaffrey) and Terence Gray, her brothers James, John, Terence (Terry) and Patrick (Paddy) Gray and her sisters Mary McGoran and Brigid Farrell. She is survived by her sister Olive Michaelson, nephew Fr. Sean Michaelson, SJ and niece Carol Ann Michaelson in the United States as well as sister-in-law Susan Gray, brother-in-law Canice Farrell and her many nieces and nephews and extended family in Ireland. 

A funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Saturday, September 7th in the Ignatius Chapel at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4715 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85012. She will be interred at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Phoenix.  In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Vincent de Paul or Hospice of the Valley.
