Christopher “Chris” Euzarraga, passed away on September 8, 2024, in Phoenix, Arizona, at the age of 62. Born on June 30, 1962, in Phoenix, AZ. Chris was a lifelong learner and educator. He attended St. Mary's High School, followed by Arizona State University, and later earned a master's degree from Northern Arizona University. Chris dedicated his career to shaping young minds as an elementary school teacher with the Phoenix Elementary School District, a role he cherished deeply.
Chris was a beacon of kindness and intelligence, known for his genuine and caring nature. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Dr. Janet (Biltgen), and a loving father to his sons, Christopher and Jonathan. He also leaves behind his parents, Raul and Arlene Euzarraga; his brother, Larry (Pam) and sister, Teresa Euzarraga Morgan (Ken). His presence as a family man was deeply felt, and he will be missed by all who knew him. Chris’s legacy as an educator and family man will be remembered by his loved ones and the community he served.
On Friday, September 20th a Visitation will be held at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E Indian School Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85018, from 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m., with a Rosary starting at 7:00p.m.
On Saturday, September 21st a Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 3550 E Knox Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85044. A Reception will follow from 11:00a.m.-1:00p.m.
A burial procession will immediately follow to Chris’s final resting place at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N 48th St., Phoenix, AZ 85008.
