Cindy Lynne Bedoya

July 31, 1955 — July 16, 2024

On July 16, 2024 Cynthia Lynne Bedoya, or Cindy, as she was known by many friends and family, passed away unexpectedly. She is survived by her husband Eddie, son, Nic; and daughter Leah, sister Amy as well as her 7 grandchildren, Alyssa, Morgan, Kallin, Zoey, Payton, Rezi, and Atticus.

Her passing has left a deep hole of loss in those she leaves behind. With a legacy as the matriarch and glue of her family, the devastation of her passing is only surmounted by the love and memories of the life that she built.

Married for 45 years, her husband Eddie was her rock and support. A love that lasted thru and thru, their bond is irreplaceable. The love of her life, as he was hers, together created a beautiful family, raising their son and daughter in a loving, supportive environment.

Valuing the teachings and the importance of family, their children would inherit Cindy’s sense of humor, propensity for the rebellious spirit and love of life in general. She would always have an ear for their most difficult times and warm arms for their most weary days.

Her children would bare the most significant parts of her life, her grandchildren. Hosting many sleepovers, dinners, she was the star of their social medias on some days, but most importantly she was their biggest cheerleader and biggest fan. Cindy was a proud Nana and her pride in her grandkids and their accomplishments were never a secret to anyone, as she often praised and gushed over them.

Cindy was a woman who never turned away a friend, opened her home to all those around. The “planner” of every group and the definitive answer for most unsolved problems, she had a love of get-togethers of all kinds, whether in the streets of her chosen family members of her neighborhood or the more traditional family sense.

However, all bets were off if a casino or the chance to gamble was on the table. Or a trip to Hobby Lobby… she had a pension for puzzles and holiday decor unmatched by anyone which made her the warmest home to be welcomed in.

Her rebellious spirit, infectious laugh and ability to keep people guessing will be a legacy never forgotten. As we remember who Cindy was in life, may it be honored in the quips and smiles of the family she cultivated and cared for until the day she passed. May the love she shared with Eddie be a testament to what true love is and forever be remembered as her rock.

Goodbye Cindy, may you find peace in the arms of your mother, father and brother as you arrive in heaven. We love you always.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home.
