Michael “Mike” Cobb

With tremendous sadness we mourn the passing of Michael “Mike” Cobb, a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, whose gentle soul touched so many lives. Born and raised in Phoenix, Mike grew up with a brilliant mind for electronics, a love of music, and an overwhelming sense of pride in everything he set out to accomplish. He never hesitated to help someone who needed a hand and enjoyed spending time with his childhood friends who he remained close with since high school. Mike was known for his calm demeanor, kind heart, and selfless spirit, having spent many years caring for his beloved grandmother with love and dignity. You would never hear a single negative word uttered from his mouth, as he treated everyone he encountered with respect and kindness. Mike was an extremely hard worker, and incredibly dedicated to his role at Habitat for Humanity. Many will feel his loss for years to come, though we are fortunate to now have him as a guardian angel.

Mike leaves behind his sister Toni and niece Carlena, other family members, as well as a group of devoted friends and loved ones who were fortunate to have crossed paths with him. Let us come together to celebrate his beautiful life and reflect on the incredible memories of his existence.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from 4:00-7:00PM with a Rosary at 5:30PM at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 10:00AM at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1954 N 24th Street, Phoenix.
