Alice Cordova

Our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and the youngest of eight siblings passed away peacefully on January 13, 2011 at the age of 87. An Arizona Native, Alice was born in Glendale and after many years of service, retired from the City of Phoenix. A feisty personality, and a generous heart, she loved dancing, reading and spending time with family. Alice has joined her loving husband Albert “Tito” in heaven, and is survived by their daughter Brenda, 2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. We will celebrate her life with a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 2121 South Rural Road, Tempe, AZ, on Friday, January 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., followed by Graveside Services at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery. Donations to Saint Vincent de Paul are requested in lieu of flowers. Arrangements entrusted to Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home.
