Richard Cordova

Richard Cordova, 82 of Tempe went to be with his wife of 57 years Margaret, on December 24, 2017. Richard was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, Saint Mary’s alumni, devoted Catholic, U.S. Army Vet and ASU-Cardinals fan. He was raised in Golden Gate and would later move Tempe, Arizona. He is preceded in death by his siblings, David, Sally and Ruben. His is survived by his two children; John Al Cordova and Elisa Medrano (Reyes Medrano Jr.), six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, brother Albert Cordova, sisters Oliva Jimenez and Joann Olivas. A Rosary will be at 9:00 A.M. with a Funeral Mass at 9:30 A.M. on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Saint Mary’s Basilica, 231 N. 3rd Street, Phoenix. Inurnment will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home.
