William “Bill” Andrew Daniel, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020, at the age of 73. He was born on June 23, 1947 in Canton, Ohio to James and Ruth Daniel. Upon graduating from Perry High School, he became an iron worker with Local #550 for 16 years. Bill moved with his wife and children to Phoenix in 1980 where he was self-employed in the automotive industry until retiring in 2016.
Bill is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Virginia (Snyder); daughters Dana (John), Lori (Matt), and Amy (Reyes); and grandchildren (JD, Bradley, Mariah, Sabrina, Andrew, Gannon, Mia, and Marissa); siblings Twila, David, Dale, and Claudia; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Ed and Veronica; and son Scott.
Bill had a passion for sports and loved watching his grandchildren play their various sports. He had a huge heart, was both fun and funny, and had a zany sense of humor. It is impossible to measure the tremendous impact he had or the numbers of lives that he touched throughout his lifetime.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix, AZ on Friday, November 6, 2020, between 2pm and 4pm.
