Nicholas Damian D’Arcangelo, died at the age of 64, in his home in Gilbert, Arizona. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona to James and Marian D’Arcangelo on January 7, 1954. He attended St. Thomas the Apostle grade school and Brophy College Preparatory. He continued his education at Phoenix College and Arizona State University where he graduated Suma Cum Laude with a Master’s Degree in education. He taught English and Drama for 21 years and impacted the lives of countless students along the way. Nick is survived by his three daughters and their spouses. Deanna D’Arcangelo-Larson (Steven), Amanda D’Arcangelo (Matt Williams) and Tara Williams (Travis), four grandchildren, brother Mark D’Arcangelo, sisters Christine Fierro (Sam), Margie D’Arcangelo, Carolyn Watson (John), Mary Frances Cooney (Tom), and many other close relatives. His humor, way of teaching and love for the Beatles and Tabasco sauce will be sorely missed. In the words of “Mr. D”, “That’s all she writ”. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with Scripture service at 7:00 P.M. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, May 25, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 2312 E. Campbell Avenue, Phoenix.
