Dean Anton Hoffman

Death is not an end of life, but the beginning of another journey for the spirit.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved, Dean Anton Hoffman. He was born in Lestock, Saskatchewan, Canada on January 18, 1960. He resided in Surprise, Arizona with his loving wife Christina Hoffman. Dean took his spirit journey home on June 11, 2024, at the age of 64. He was proceeded in death by his daughter Stephanie Marie Hoffman, parents John Sr. and Angeline Hoffman, brother Robert Hoffman, brother John Hoffman Jr., sister Julia Hoffman. Survived by his devoted and loving wife Christina Hoffman. Brothers; Joe Whitehawk, Calvin Severight, Sisters; Janice Absher, Rose Chase, Jackie McFarland, Janet Smith, Patricia Hoffman, God daughters Sierra Figueroa and Naomi Tom, beloved family and extended family members, mother-in-law Dolores Garcia, sister-in-law’s Patricia Henry, Estele Valdez, Yolanda Garcia, Norma Souza and brother-in-law Ezekiel Garcia, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. 

Dean graduated from Carl Hayden High School in 1979. After high school, he worked for AutoZone from 1980-2015. After 35 years at Auto Zone Dean retired in 2015. He will be dearly missed and will always remain in our hearts and memories.

We LOVE you forever Dean, until we meet again. 

Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 20th 2024 at Saint Mary’s Basilica at 231 N. 3rd St, Phoenix, AZ 85004, with Viewing from 9:00am – 9:30am and a Rosary 9:30am – 10:00am with Mass at 10:00am. Dean will be laid to rest immediately following mass at Saint Francis Cemetery at 2033 N. 48th St, Phoenix, AZ 85008.
