Kristine Pierce Debrock

Kristine, 49, went home to her loving Father on January 22, 2017 after a bravely fought battle with Leukemia. It would be hard to find a person with more friends than Kristine, as she was generous and kind to everyone she met. Born in Phoenix on September 1, 1967, Kristine attended St. Francis Xavier Elementary School and Xavier High School where she made her first sets of lifelong friends. After attending NAU, Kristine began her career at Southwest Airlines as a flight attendant; a job that she loved. Many friends were made flying the friendly skies; most importantly, her loving husband of 15 years, Rick DeBrock. Kristine fell head over heels for Rick and his daughter Brianna, and her life became complete with the birth of their son, Pierce. For Kristine, there was no greater joy than being a mother. From the mountains in Angel Fire, to the beaches in Hawaii, to Clear Lake, Indiana, Kristine loved spending time with Rick, Pierce and Brianna. Kristine had a passion for serving others and regularly volunteered her time at her son’s school, at church, with her aging father and at Hospice of the Valley. Her most valued experience, however, was serving the children in Africa while on a Christian Medical Mission Trip. Even during her final days, she made she sure her guests had food and drinks. She was the perfect host. Kristine is survived by her husband Rick, daughter Brianna Schenk (Sean), son Pierce, mother Wanda Lally, sister Kelly Maguire (Joe), brother John Pierce (Natalie), sister Anne Sanford (Tom), best friend Lisa Kamps (Spencer), many nieces, nephews and godchildren. Kristine also deeply loved her extended Pierce, Lally, and DeBrock families. Please join the family for a Memorial Service at North Phoenix Baptist Church, 5757 North Central Avenue, on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 3:30 in the afternoon, followed by a reception at St. Francis Parish at 4715 North Central Avenue.
