Adeline “Lena” Martinez Diaz

103, of Phoenix, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2016.  Lena is survived by her daughter Yolanda Cons, son’s Daniel Bojorquez and Virgil Diaz, grandson and caregiver Caesar Cons, 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Virgil Joseph Diaz and son Rodolfo Bojorquez as well as her twin brother Gilbert Martinez.  A vigil will be held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., in Phoenix.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am, Monday, December 19th at St. Simon & Jude Cathedral, 6351 N. 27th Avenue, in Phoenix.  Burial will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery at 48th St. & Oak, in Phoenix.
