Raul P. Diaz

Raul P. Diaz, 91, of Phoenix, passed away on January 25, 2018 in Phoenix, AZ, surrounded by his loved ones. Raul was born on August 24, 1926 in Phoenix and was a World War II Army Veteran. He is survived by his 104-year-old sister, Cecilia Saavedra, and his nieces and nephew; Irene Figueroa, Susie Thomas, Rosie Jean Riddley, Nellie Flores, Diana Cordova and David Cordova. Raul is also survived by second, third and fourth generation nieces and nephews. Raul will be remembered as a man of faith in God and dedication to Jesus Christ and the Saints. He was a generous donor to many charities with lifelong donations to Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital. He was a proud and loving brother to his sister and devoted to his family. He will be missed by all who knew him. A Viewing will be held Friday, February 2, 2018 from 8:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M., with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 9:30 A.M., and a Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M., at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4715 N.
