Todd Allen Dillard
Todd Allen Dillard, 39, passed suddenly and peacefully at his home on September 17, 2020. The funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at 10:30am at Franciscan Renewal Center, 5802 E. Lincoln Dr., Scottsdale, Arizona. Interment will be held at a later date.
Todd was born in Beaumont, Texas to Scott Dillard and Jan Dillard. He was raised in Beaumont and graduated from the University of Houston with his Bachelor of Arts in Communications. He received his J.D. from Loyola University in New Orleans. He went on to earn his LL. M. in Energy Law and Natural Resources at the University of Houston. He was practicing with Robert S. Lynch and Associates in Phoenix, Arizona at the time of his passing.
Todd was an avid LSU fan and had an incredible Coach O impression. His family was his top priority, followed closely by tacos. He was looking forward to his upcoming wedding in November, which had been postponed from earlier this year due to COVID. His hobbies included golf, fly fishing, and keeping Amelia and Kerri happy and laughing. He truly shined being a father. The best parts of him, including his larger than life personality and laugh that could fill the room will be carried on through Amelia. He left a lasting impression and we will carry him with us eternally.
He is survived by his fiancée, Kerri Carnes and his beloved daughter, Amelia.
Todd was the youngest of five brothers and his survivors also include: mother, Jan Dillard; father and step mother, Scott and Lue Dillard; brothers, Chris Dillard (Kendra), Doug Dillard (Jewell), Mike Maddux (Kathleen), Michael Dillard (Annie); his nephew and godson Thomas Dillard; nieces and nephews, Harrison, Reilly, Alex, Andrew, Logan, Christine, Braden, Teagen; his former wife Janel Glynn; and numerous other cherished family members. He was preceded in death by grandparents Bob and Mary Dillard, Arthur and Lorraine Zielinski, and uncle Doug Dillard.
In this time of COVID, and to respect the safety of Todd’s family and friends, attendance of the in-person service will be limited.
