Mark Elliott Dodd, 45 years old, died unexpectedly on April 22, 2021. His loss was completely unexpected, and the family is shocked and deeply saddened. Mark was born September 12, 1975 to Kenneth and Margaret Dodd. He is survived by his parents, Ken & Pegi, 5 brothers and 3 sisters and their families. Mark graduated from Salpointe Catholic High School in 1993 and attended the Golf Academy of Phoenix. Mark was an avid golfer and loved playing the game. Mark enjoyed cooking, music, hanging out at his favorite local pubs with friends, and being with family. Mark worked for Costco for the past 8 years and previously worked for Blackstone Country Club at Vistancia. Mark was also a respite and habilitation caregiver for JJ who was dear to his heart. Anyone who knew Mark, knew that he was genuine, kind, intelligent, witty, humorous, random information guru and most importantly just someone you really wanted to hang out with. Mark was very passionate about golf and genuinely cared for his family and friends. He was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back if it were the only article of clothing he owned. Mark’s family and friends will miss him more than words can say. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mark can be made to Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center.
