On Monday, April 30, 2018, Ross Bradford Dodenhoff passed away at the age of 22. Ross was a New Year’s baby, born in Phoenix, Arizona on January 1, 1996. He carried the holiday spirit with him, making friends and family laugh with his stories, his jokes, and his off-beat observations. Ross had a big heart and a quiet charisma. He showed genuine interest in others, and had a gift for making them feel comfortable. Ross was a wonderful friend, too. His easygoing nature and incisive mind made him a delight to be around. At the time of his death, Ross was a student at ASU, majoring in construction management. Prior to attending ASU, Ross graduated from Brophy College Preparatory, where he played lacrosse. Ross is survived by his parents, Steve and Bren Dodenhoff; his brother and sister-in-law, Reed and Elise Dodenhoff; his sister, Kyle Dodenhoff; his grandparents, Wally and Barbara Reed, Judy Tingley and Mike Killion, and Ted Dodenhoff and Sue Ross; and an army of adoring aunts, uncles, and cousins. Memorial services for Ross will be held on Monday, May 7, at 4:00 P.M. in the chapel at Brophy College Preparatory, 4701 N. Central Avenue, Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation, 2929 E. Camelback Road, Suite 122, Phoenix, AZ 85016, in the name of Ross Dodenhoff. Funds will be used for expenses related to the loss of a child. Rossy, we traveled the world together, but this is one journey we can’t take with you…yet. Until our final trip to see you again, all our love.
