Dolores Trejo Sandoval

Dolores Trejo Sandoval, daughter of Margarita Brady and Joe T Trejo, passed away on June 3, 2024. Born in Phoenix, Dolores was the granddaughter of Josefa Gomez Brady and Henry Whitter Brady, both of the Arizona Pioneers Association. She is survived by her sister, MaryEllen Carrillo and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Dolores loved sports, playing all kinds with her siblings, and continuing throughout most of her life. Her favorite sport was volleyball, but she was also an avid tennis player. When she was not playing sports, she loved watching sports too. She often attended games of local teams, from high school to the professional teams. 

Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, George Sandoval, daughter Sandra Marie Sandoval, her parents, brothers Gilbert, Joseph, Frank, Manuel, and Richard, as well as sister, Gloria. 

A Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 A.M. with a Funeral Service at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., in Phoenix. Burial will immediately follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N. 48^th St., in Phoenix.
