Donald William Brunner

Don Brunner was born on June 26, 1940, the youngest of four sons of Betty and John Brunner. He was educated in the Public Schools of Jersey City, NJ and completed his formal education earning a degree from Rutgers University’s University College in 1970.

A man with a positive outlook on life, Don enjoyed sharing a joke or quip with others he encountered to brighten their day as well as his own.

A lifelong fan of the NFL Giants, he rejoiced and mourned as their fortunes rose and fell over the decades.

In 1988 he became a lector at the Franciscan Renewal Center in Paradise Valley, AZ. This ministry helped him grow in knowledge and love of his faith.

On July 16, 2024, Don departed this life to begin the eternal life of joy and love beyond our understanding.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 20 at 10:00 a.m. at the Franciscan Renewal Center, 5802 E. Lincoln Dr., Paradise Valley, AZ 85253.
