Donald George Semple

Donald Semple, 85 of Mesa, AZ passed away on Sunday February 18, 2024 with his loving family by his side.

Don and his wife Diana moved from Auburn, NY to Arizona 29 years ago to enjoy the sunshine and their retirement. He became an avid golfer in retirement and loved his 1995 Cadillac Deville!

Donald is survived by his wife Diana (Bushallow) Semple, his daughters Deanna Semple (Anne Ross) and Denise Nunez (Jose), his twin brother Ronald Semple (Jeanne), his grandsons Ryan Dooher (Gina), Jacob Dooher, his favorite granddaughter Ashley Dooher and two beautiful great grandchildren.

Don retired from the NYS Correction Facility in Auburn, NY after 30 years of service. He also earned his Nursing degree in 1975. He worked as a registered nurse at Auburn Memorial Hospital. Every patient he took care of just loved him!

Don served in the US Marine Corp for 4 years and always loved the marines. He would remind you often, “Once a marine always a marine”!

He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family. He truly loved each of them and if you knew him you felt it.

Private services will be held for immediate family.
