Donna Lee Carroll

Donna Lee Carroll (Rose), 75, surrounded by her loved ones peacefully passed away on July 31, 2024 in Glendale, AZ. She was born to her parents Newell and Edna Rose on May 23, 1949 in Phoenix, AZ. She will be dearly missed by her beloved husband of 59 years, Thomas Carroll. Donna wore many hats in her life as a mother, nurse, construction surveyor IUEO Heavy Equipment Operator, and eventually retired as the Maricopa County Floodplain Inspector in May 2011. She also enjoyed several hobbies of collecting antiques which were mostly dolls and toys, as well as, restoring vintage lamps. 

 Donna is survived by her husband of 59 years Thomas Henry Carroll; daughters Ann Marie Glidewell, 57, in Palestine, IL, Christine Carroll, 55, in Sequim, WA, son-in-law Robert Glidewell, 65; sisters Linda Higbee, 72, in Lebanon, OR, Mikey Johnson, 70, in Little Rock, AR, Kathy Bert, 65, in Prescott, AZ; brother Brad Rose, 68, in Lapine, OR; brothers-in-law David Higbee, 81, David Burt, 66, and Jerry Johnson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School in Phx. Burial will take place at East Resthaven Cemetery following the service.
