Janet Marilyn Egan

Janet Marilyn Egan passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on November 30, 2012, following her courageous battle with lung cancer. She was preceded in death by parents Mike and Wilma Smith of Worthing, South Dakota, and grandchildren Brent Showers and Bobbi Hernandez. Janet is survived by her children Jay, Jill (Tina), Jackie (Jeff), Leslie and Stacy (Pete); 15 grandchildren, two great grandchildren; her loving dog Precious; brother Gary Spawn, his wife Jackie, and their children and families. Janet will forever be remembered for her incredible love for and devotion to her children and their families; her infectious laugh, quick wit, her voracious appetite for a good book, and her amazing culinary skills.
