Elias Antoun Assouad

Elias Antoun Assouad, 93, of Beruit, Lebanon, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2023 in Chandler, Arizona surrounded by loved ones.

Elias is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Emelie Khoury. He is survived by his children Therese (Kamal) Haddad, Lilian (Russell) George, and Fadi (Chirine) Assouad, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a loving extended family and friends.

Elias was known for his compassion and kindness. His gentle nature and enthusiasm for life brought joy to everyone. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

The funeral service will be held at 10am, with visitation and rosary being held from 8:30am-10am on Friday, December 15th at St. Joseph Maronite Church, 5406 E. Virginia Avenue, Phoenix. Burial to follow at Valley of the Sun Cemetery at 12pm.
