Nellie G. “Nela” Faddis

Nela Faddis, age 63, a resident of Scottsdale, Arizona passed away on March 5, 2015. Nela was born in Carapito, Venezuela in 1951, where her parents met and were married. She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years Thomas Faddis and her loving family; her daughters Meghan and Chelsea and husband Casey, and grandchildren Makayla and Cade , her brother Jeffrey Meyers and wife Pam, and her three sisters, Mary Margaret Meyers-Walker and husband Chip, Roxanna Meyers and husband Stanley and Monica Meyers. Nela was preceded in death by her beloved parents Walter and Nellie Grey Meyers. Nela Graduated from New Mexico State University with an Associate’s Degree and from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Nela was admired and loved deeply by her family, friends and coworkers. She loved to travel and did so extensively. She enjoyed playing games, painting and getting lost in a good book. She also truly enjoyed her church and the various other community groups she supported and belonged to. Most of all however, she loved spending time with her family. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at New Vision Center for Spiritual Living 10810 N. Tatum Blvd. Phoenix, AZ on Saturday, March 21
