Nino J. Fernandez

Fernandez, Nino J., 70 passed away January 3, 2015 in Mesa Az.

Born March 22, 1944 in Phoenix, Arizona. He enlisted in the USMC, and proudly served in Vietnam. Upon his return from duty, he worked various jobs, and retired from the City of Phoenix with over 20 years of service. Nino was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend who loved to watch NASCAR and cheer for ASU Sun Devils, and the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame football while smoking a cigarette and drinking a Coke.

Preceded in death by his parents Nino & Beatrice, and Sister Christina Rivera. Survived by his daughters Elaine and Kara (Chris), grandchildren Dominique, Brandy, Jadan and Adam. Sisters Patricia Rivera, Linda Laing and brother Mark.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 10th, 2015 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. A Graveside Service will follow at 11:15am, at St. Francis Cemetery,

2033 N. 48th Street, Phoenix.
