Richard T. “Rick” Fili

age 61, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away January 29, 2014, at his home.  Rick was born January 8, 1953, in Sioux City, Iowa, to the late Joseph and Lillian E. (Taylor) Fili.  He graduated from Omaha South High School in 1971.  Rick moved to Phoenix 23 years ago and worked as an insurance agent for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company for the past 15 years.  In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by brothers, Joseph, Ronald and Rocco Fili.  He is survived by his daughter, Lindsay (Darren) Stroupe; granddaughter, Lauren Stroupe, all of Omaha, NE; sisters, Mary (Tom) Kristensen of Council Bluffs, NE, Virginia (John) Rudzinskas of Shingle Springs, CA; brothers, Angelo (Gayla) Fili, Perry (Tammy) Fili all of Omaha, NE, Christopher (Jennifer) Fili of Denton, TX, Aaron Fili of W. Hollywood, CA; many nieces and nephews.  Memorial Service will be held from 6-7pm, Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix.
