Phillip Fimbres

Phillip “Boy” Fimbres passed away peacefully on his 71st birthday, September 8, 2023. Phillip was born to Frank and Carmen Fimbres, on September 8, 1952, in Phoenix, Arizona. Phillip was a lifelong mechanic. He loved his cars, especially his 1957 Chevy Delivery. He will be missed by many, especially his siblings- Frank, Toni (Neni), Carmen, Angel, Rebecca (Becky), Mary Helen, and Jo Ann.

His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life’s challenges. Despite his pain, Phillip came out a Hero, and stayed strong until the end, “letting nature take its course.”

He will be missed, and always remembered with love.

A visitation will be held at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, in Phoenix, on Friday, September 29th, from 6-8PM, with a rosary recited at 7PM. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1954 N. 24th Street, in Phoenix, on Saturday, September 30, 2023. Visitation will begin at 9AM with Mass beginning at 10AM. A graveside service immediately following at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.
