99, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great, great-grandmother and sister passed away peacefully on Monday, May 11, 2015.
Minnie had a very interesting life from being born on the Cherokee Nation to crossing the country in a covered wagon. Minnie was a successful cosmetic rep for Goldwaters and Saks Fifth Avenue, but she is most remembered for her wonderful cooking. She loved cooking for both the students at St. Gregory’s School and also for the nuns in the convent. She moved with the family to Dateland, AZ in 1969 where she was the cafeteria manager for many years. Minnie was a devout Catholic and a very fun loving lady. As her nephew Ralph said, “She always made everyone feel like they were the most important person in the world.” She is preceded in death by her husband Robert, daughter Wanda Lee and great-granddaughter Maile. She is survived by her grandchildren, Cherokee (John), John (Lisa), Joe and Robert, great-grandchildren David, Jaden and Justin and great, great-granddaughter Marleau, sister Pauline Leer and niece Christine Green. A Rosary will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 10:00 AM with a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 3424 N. 18

Avenue, Phoenix. Interment will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.
