Margaret Louise Fisher

Margaret (Marge) Louise Fisher entered eternal rest to meet her Lord and Savior and be reunited with her loved ones on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, in Phoenix, AZ. Marge was born on February 24, 1944, to Andrew and Mary Maschak in Johnstown, PA where she lived for 18 years before beginning her life in Phoenix, AZ. After completing her GED, Marge followed her passion and love for food and went on to pursue higher education with Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. Upon graduating, she was employed by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) as a chef and used her training to help teach those who were in most need of guidance and support. There she also met her husband, Dennis Fisher. After dating awhile, the two fell in love and were married on September 4, 2003. She retired from MCSO in 2003.

Marge not only loved to cook, but she also loved to paint and create. She loved to gather with her friends and daughter to laugh, talk, and paint beautiful pieces at the Tole Shop. Marge was also a devoted Catholic and very involved with her church, St. Simon and Jude Cathedral. Her favorite days were spent there worshiping and rejoicing the Lord with her closest friends and family. Marge is at last reunited with her oldest son, Michael Miller and she is reunited with her beloved husband, Dennis. Her surviving children, James Miller III, David Miller, and Pamela Young (Kent), her 3 step-children, her 7 grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 2 step-great-grandchildren and her many friends who have become an extension of her family will miss her and her vibrancy greatly. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 29 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at Ss. Simon and Jude Cathedral, 6351 N. 27th Ave., Phoenix. Followed by the Committal Service at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, 23015 Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix. A celebration of Marge’s life will be held at 3151 W. Redfield Rd., Phoenix, following all services.
